Operation Granny Square

so. i want to make a granny square quilt. but i need lots+lots of help.
i'm not sure if you remember this photo or not, but this is a fair interpretation of what my granny squares look like:

 

i know that an experienced granny square maker can complete a beautiful granny square in just a few short minutes. and i know that many of you are reading right now.

i am asking, no begging, for your help, dear readers. if you could send me a granny square (or two, three, ten), i would be eternally grateful. my plan is to evenutally end up with one of these:

now. in return. at first i contemplated sending each crafter a print from my shop, but as a student brought some blankets/towels into my classroom to donate them, i thought of a better idea. let's help out haiti.

for each granny square that i receive, i will donate $.50 to the haiti earthquake relief fund. don't worry about the color, thickness, or anything like that. just crochet. and please, please pass this project along. i'm really, really excited to help haiti in any way possible, and i'm really excited to make this quilt.
